Superior quality is the goal  !

Terrazure was created by Florence Lefranc, Medicinal Herbalist, to fulfill customers' expectations for high quality products. Terrazure partners with quality control facilities and processes, committed to excellence in product quality.

The quality of Terrazure products begins with the knowledge and experience of the raw material suppliers from around the world. Herbs and spices are purchased from domestic and international growers from over 20 countries. Direct purchasing ensures that the integrity of the products is consistent with the finest quality available.

The buyers are botanical and herb experts who work closely with a quality control staff, before and after the products arrive, to continually monitor the raw materials. All suppliers are audited yearly to assure they meet "Good Manufacturing Practice" requirements.

Inspection and cleaning during the milling process insure that the finished product will meet a stringent specifications for quality and cleanliness. At each stage of production, the quality control staff inspects and approves each product before it is allowed to proceed to the next process.

Retained samples from all shipments are thoroughly tested and compared to an extensive reference library of dried herbs and botanicals to verify authenticity.

All lot samples are kept for five years and can be traced for verification.

The herbs are tested by independent labs and consultants to guarantee the analyses are complete. Testing includes organoleptic analysis for aroma, color, flavor and texture. Physical testing involves moisture, volatile oil content, heavy metals, microbiology, thin layer chromatography, and other tests specific to each herb.

There are a lot of reasons why we use vegetarian capsules instead of going with the gelatin variety. Most notably, they are popular because our vegetarian capsules are made from HPMC (hydroxy, propyl, methyl, and cellulose) and purified water, so no animal byproducts are used.

The HPMC is obtained from wood pulp and processed in facilities located in the United States and Europe. The wood pulp used is derived from the softwood tree species including Pine and Spruce.

The vegetarian capsules are Kosher and Halal certified, preservative free, gluten free and allergen free.

Terrazure mushroom extracts are made from certified organic mushrooms, grown naturally on substrate materials native to each particular mushroom. No sterile laboratories, sterile air, sterile growing environment or artificial lights. No unnatural substrates made of cereal grains or rice.

The mushrooms are grown in greenhouses with natural lighting and natural fresh air flow. We want our mushrooms to be grown the same way you want your food produced: on a farm tended by real people not in a laboratory managed by technicians!

There is significant concern within the regulatory community regarding health claims made about nutritional supplements as well as about the identity and purity of the natural products themselves. Medicinal mushrooms are a category that has experienced high growth but few actual quality control standards.

Every crop of mushrooms starts with selected strains, cultivars that have been developed over the course of centuries. Hundreds of mushroom research institutes are engaged in continual research and development on high yielding strains of the highest medicinal quality.

Specially selected natural materials such as protein enriched sawdust and hardwood logs are used as the food base for the mushrooms. These natural substrates contain precursors that guarantee the production of important medicinal compounds.

Mushroom crops are produced in greenhouses and shade-houses. A constant flow of fresh air and fresh water from deep wells is provided to the mushrooms. Natural sunlight provides the stimulus for proper mushroom formation.

The mushrooms are harvested by hand and sun-dried or air dried in a dehydrator. After harvest and before processing, every crop of mushrooms is tested for possible chemical drift or other contamination.
